Stephanie Lee Meihui, BSc

Stephanie's journey began at the Ministry of Health's Health Regulation Group. Her diverse portfolio included legislative policy development, process redesign, and the creation of a data-driven licensing framework for the Healthcare Services Act. She also managed regulatory databases, conducted inspections, established a Regulatory Advisory Panel, and led a review of the Optometrists and Opticians Act. Later, she joined the National Research Foundation, where she formulated policies, developed the funding envelope, and implemented the Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) 2025 Human Health & Potential (HHP) Domain strategies. She governed the HHP initiatives, including national infectious diseases R&D programmes and infrastructure platforms, and coordinated the Domain’s midterm review. Doubling as the International Relations China Desk Head, Stephanie also facilitated bilateral scientific, technological, and innovation partnerships between Singapore and China. These experiences have helped Stephanie navigate the various facets of a complex healthcare and biomedical ecosystem.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biological Sciences from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
