Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Will NHIC claim any IP ownership or royalty revenue?

NHIC does not take ownership of any IP or any share of commercialisation revenue.

2. Are there any specific medical specialty or focus areas for the I2D grants?

No. Applicants can submit in the areas of Therapeutics, BioTech, MedTech, and Health Services. However, there must be a clearly defined clinical unmet need for the project.

It is so NHIC can have a common contact point for all the institutions under the six healthcare clusters for the management of the grants and commercialisation.
